Taking into account strategic importance of the Trans-Caspian Pipeline and White Stream Projects to Georgia and in accordance with No. 775 Decree of the Government of Georgia dated April 13, 2017, on 21 April, 2017, Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation JSC acquired 10-10% of shares of the promoter companies of the projects (White Stream Ltd and W-Stream Caspian Pipeline Company Ltd). After implementation of the projects, tens of billions of cubic meters of Turkmen natural gas will be delivered to EU annually through the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, the Black Sea and Romania.
