Representatives of Construction Companies Visited 47 km Section of Kutasi-Abasha Pipeline

GOGC started selecting qualified contractors for the construction of 47km section of Kutaisi-Abasha gas pipeline.
According to procurement procedures GOGC is obliged to take any physical or legal entity, willing to participate in the bidding process, to the construction site.
To this end, representatives of GOGC’s technical directorate and USAID took interested construction companies to observe 4 sites such as Rioni, Sulori and Khanistskali sections as well as a marshy section of the site.
Representatives of interested companies will use the information they acquired to prepare a bidding proposal and conclude a construction contract.
The construction of Kutaisi-Abasha 47 km section of the main gas pipeline is funded by the USAID and implemented by GOGC under III stage of East-West Main Gas Pipeline Rehabilitation Program.
