Pipeline Transportation of Crude Oil on the Territory of Georgia

In 2012, the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline delivered 32 954 667 tons of Azerbaijan crude oil to Ceyhan port, the figure is 4,6% less than in 2011.
The Western Route Export Pipeline transported 3 922 306 tons of crude oil to Supsa Terminal, that is 2,8% more compared to the same period last year.
Azerbaijan crude oil transportation via Georgia to Ceyhan port started from September 2005 and the Western Route Export Pipeline was put into operation in 1999.
