Public Consultations On The Environmental Impact Report For The Zestaponi-Kutaisi And Gori- Kareli Sections Of The Main Gas Pipeline Start

JSC Georgian Oil And Gas Corporartion starts public consultation meetings on the environmental impact report for the rehabilitation of the Zestaponi-Kutaisi 23 km and Gori- Kareli 51 km long sections of the high pressure gas pipeline.
Public consultation meeting concerning the Zestaponi-Kutaisi section of the pipeline will be held on September 3, 2012 in in the building of the Bagdati Municipality self-governance unit, September 4, 2012 in Zestaponi and on September 5, 2012 in the Terjola Municipality.
Public Consultations on the environmental impact report for the rehabilitation of the Gori-Kareli section will be held on September 6, 2012 in the Khasuri Municipality self-governance unit, September 7, 2012 in Kareli and on September 10, 2012 in the Municipality of Gori.
Rahabilitation of the Zestaponi-Kutaisi and Gori- Kareli sections of the Main Gas Pipeline is part of the East-West Gas Pipeline Rehabilitation Project Phase IV, prepared for the implementation under the Power and Gas Infrastructure Program (funded by the USAID).
