GOGC Reduced Gas Price at the Expense of its own Revenues

David Tvalabeishvili, General Director of Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) announced today that the reduction of tariffs for consumption of natural gas has been achieved at the expense of the company’s revenues. In particular, GOGC lowered gas purchase price for ‘SOCAR Gas Export-Import’ and accordingly to natural gas distribution companies, as a result consumers will pay less.
Based on the decision of the Government of Georgia, tariff for consumption of natural gas has been reduced by 5 tetri from March 1.
