Georgian International Oil, Gas, Infrastructure and Energy Conference - GIOGIE-2014 Opened Today

The XIII Georgian International Oil, Gas, Infrastructure and Energy Conference (GIOGIE) opened at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel in Tbilisi.
Minister of Energy, Kakha Kaladze opened the conference.
General Director of Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation, David Tvalabeishvili and the Ambassadors of the European Union to Georgia Philip Dimitrov welcomed the conference participants.
According to David Tvalabeishvili, the conference which has been held for already years is one of the most significant events in the energy field, it must enhance relationship between local and investor companies.Georgian International Oil, Gas, Infrastructure and Energy Conference has been held with consistent backing and support of Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation and we plan to support it in future too, Tvalabeishvili pointed out.
South Corridor, Chellenges of Georgian Energy Sector, the prospects of infrastructure development are those key topics which will be discussed at the conference.
Representatives of diplomatic corps, energy companies and energy experts will attend the two-day conference. Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation, Teimuraz Gochitashvili and Chief Geologist of GOGC –Soso Ghudushauri will make a speech at the conference.
