Gas Delivery to the Adjara Region has been Resumed

Gas delivery to the Adjara region has been resumed. On Sunday Georgian Gas Transportation Company started repair works to eliminate damage on the Main gas pipeline, however due to bad weather conditions the company could fully restore it only today.
Due to powerful windstorm in Guria on August 4, the River Natanebi washed out 44 km of the Kutaisi-Sokhumi branch of the main gas pipeline and severed it. As a result Gas delivery has been suspended to the Adjara region
