GOGC employees awarded at the Professional Day of Energy Workers event

The event dedicated to the Professional Day of Energy Workers was organized by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. People who have made special contribution to the development of the energy sector, including GOGC employees, were awarded at the event.
Mr. Romeo Mikautadze, the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia congratulated the audience on the Professional Day and thanked them for the work performed. In addition to the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development and heads of other energy companies, Mr. George Chikovani, General Director of GOGC also participated in the award ceremony and handed over merit certificates and symbolic gifs to the nominated candidates. 86 professionals were awarded in total.
Six GOGC employees were awarded: Tamaz Alibegashvili - engineer-geologist of the Engineering Survey Unit, Engineering Department, Levan Endeladze – deputy head of Legal Department, Giorgi Gorgaslidze – head of Financial Department, Jaba Lomidze – oil treatment engineer, Oil Treatment Unit, Commercial Department, Avtandil Vardidze – main specialist in operational and information issues, Oil and Gas Contracts Management Department and Ketevan Nikoladze, main specialist, HR Unit, Corporate Management Department.
At the event, a presentation of the current and planned projects which serve the goal of development of the sector and economic development of Georgia in general was delivered to the audience.
Professional Day of Energy Workers has been celebrated in Georgia on September 10, for 20 years already. This year, the event was held on the territory of HPP dam in Zemo Avchala. The event was attended by representatives of the energy sector, governmental agencies and private companies.
