Gas Delivery to the Adjara Region will be Resumed Tomorrow

Gas delivery to the Adjara region will resume tomorrow, on August 7. On Sunday Georgian Gas Transportation Company started repair works to eliminate damage on the Main gas pipeline, however due to bad weather conditions the company will be able to fully restore it only tomorrow.

Due to powerful windstorm in Guria on August 4, the River Natanebi washed out 44 km of the Kutaisi-Sokhumi branch of the main gas pipeline and severed it. As a result Gas delivery has been suspended to the Adjara region
